In 2022, I took on the role of design lead for zwoo kaffeeröster, a celebrated speciality coffee roastery in Cologne. Building on the foundation of their original branding, I was tasked with reshaping and expanding the visual identity.
The packaging design I created does more than just protect the coffee—it tells the story of its journey from farm to cup.
This narrative approach extends across all digital and print materials, ensuring that every interaction with the brand deepens the customer’s connection to zwoo’s mission.

crowdfunding 2023–Due to immensely increased prices as a result of the COVID pandemic and energy crisis, the yearly container import of organic green coffee from Guatemala by the association ProGua e.V. was about to be canceled for the first time in over 23 years.

zwoo kaffeeröster is a Cologne-based coffee roastery with a mission to make a meaningful impact through specialty coffee. My work has centered on creating a personal and narrative-driven design that reflects zwoos philosophy of quality and social sustainability. My work has centered on creating a personal and narrative-driven design. I reimagined zwoo’s brand to weave a story into every aspect of their identity.
From the welcoming atmosphere of their coffee shops and coffee school to the branding of their delivery vehicles, each design element was crafted to connect with customers on a personal level, echoing the brand’s values—Simple. Right. Delicious. By focusing on storytelling and personal connection, I’ve helped zwoo kaffeeröster create a brand experience that is both meaningful and memorable, aligning with their commitment to impact through enjoyment.
