For La Source, a wine import business founded by three friends with a passion for wines, I was tasked with developing a logo that captures their dynamic and fun energy. The result is a vibrant and playful visual identity that perfectly aligns with their close-knit relationships with small, organic wineries.
The centerpiece of the La Source logo is a set of characters I created, affectionately named ›Duudles‹—a blend of ›doodles‹ and ›dudes‹. These figures embody the lively spirit of the three founders, adding a playful and approachable vibe to the brand. They’re not just characters; they’re a representation of the energy and enthusiasm the team brings to their work. They are designed for multiple uses.
Complementing the ›Duudles‹ is a handwritten typography that gives the logo a personal and authentic feel, reflecting the deep, personal relationships La Source maintains with the winemakers they work with. This element of the design emphasizes the hands-on, heartfelt approach the team takes in sourcing wines from small, organic producers.

La Source is a new wine import business founded in 2024 by three friends who share a deep love for wines. With a hands-on approach, they personally connect with small, family-owned wineries, bringing the finest, sustainably produced wines to german gastronomy.

The La Source logo is more than just a visual identifier—it tells the story of a brand built on close, personal connections. Just as the team visits each winery and nurtures relationships with their producers, the logo fosters a sense of closeness and community, making it the perfect representation of La Source’s mission.
Looking ahead, La Source plans to host more and more tasting events, offering wine enthusiasts the chance to experience their curated selections firsthand. Alongside these events, a complete branding will be rolled out, further enhancing the unique identity and story of La Source.
